HOW TO SPA

Expecting and getting the most out of your visit to the Spa at Tauca Lea.

To experience the spa is to find relaxation, enjoyment and the way back to the Inner You; particularly if you know what to expect and understand the basis of our methodology.

Reservations are recommended in advance to ensure ideal appointment times and are secured with a credit card or gift certificate number.

Full treatment time cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals

Cancellations are accepted up to 12 hours in advance. Cancellations received less than 12 hours prior to appointments cannot be cancelled without incurring the full treatment charge(s).

We provide complimentary robes and slippers. For most body treatments, most guests choose to undress completely. Our therapists ensure that you are warmly and professionally draped at all times. At your discretion you may wear a bathing suit or undergarments. Your therapist will be glad to discuss this with you.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes in advance, with time to check in and fill out your Client History Form. This will ensure that you are relaxed and comfortable prior to beginning your treatment.

Health experts recommend that you receive only one heat treatment per day. We recommend that you drink plenty of water two hours before and after heat treatments.
After massage, it’s a good idea to drink 12 to 16 oz of water! After any heat treatment, it is highly beneficial to rest for at least one hour.

If you have a condition requiring special attention, such as allergies, disabilities or a physical ailment, please inform our spa receptionist at the time you make your appointment. This will enable us to better prepare for your comfort.

If you are pregnant, there are a few services you should avoid, however there are many treatments that can be very beneficial to you during this special time. Please notify our spa receptionist at the time of booking so that we can offer assistance and guidance.

When booking groups of four or more, 15% service charge is incurred.
