Pet Policy:

We recognize that many responsible pet owners' travel with their pets and may wish to have them share their resort accommodation. Tauca Lea Resort & Spa reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any such pet for any reason but may, at its sole discretion, allow this practice, provided some basic requirements are met for the protection of the pets in question, as well as all others.

· The owner must supply bedding equipment, feeding and drinking dishes, and pet food. · Proper arrangements must be made to secure acceptable sleeping quarters, walk and exercise as needed, and generally ensure the well-being of the pet. · Pets may not be left unattended in the suite, or any other area within the resort premises. · Pets left unattended in the suite without the resort's consent, or that otherwise cause problems, may be ordered removed or caused to be removed, at the resort's sole discretion. · The pet's presence and behaviour will not be allowed to affect the well-being and quiet enjoyment of the resort by other resort guests and patrons. · Pets must be on a leash at all times while outside of the suite and on the resort premises. · The owner is responsible for disposing of their pet's waste deposited on resort premises. · The owner assumes full responsibility for any damage, however caused, resulting from the pet being allowed on the resort premises. · A damage deposit of $100 will be taken at check-in that the resort may apply to repair any damage caused by a pet and is refundable after inspection of the suite. · An additional charge of $10 applies. · Under no circumstance will the owner allow a pet onto a bed or furniture. Adherence to these practices will ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests and pets.

Cancellation Policy

Presentation:
All reservations require an advance deposit of one night’s room plus tax, or one half of a 2 day package price plus tax, at the time of booking.
If a reservation is cancelled one week or more prior the arrival date, it is subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00 (plus applicable taxes).
If a reservation is cancelled within one week (6 days) of the arrival date, the advance deposit is automatically forfeited.

Application:
All reservations are required a pre-payment of one night’s room/tax. If a package is booked, the pre-payment deposit amount will be determined by the Grand Total package price, divided by the number of nights in the package.
All pre-paid/ guaranteed reservations are subject to cancellation charges.

Minimum Charge:
Any reservation which is guaranteed (pre-paid by any Method of Payment) and cancelled more than 7 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00 plus applicable taxes.

Maximum Charge:
Any reservation which is guaranteed (pre-paid by any Method of Payment) and cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee equal to the value of the pre-paid deposit (1 night room + tax).

Dispute:
A disputed cancellation charge is not to be refunded without prior approval from management at Tauca Lea Resort & Spa.
